Silver puddles, dew ponds, fine feathers and flowers are just some of the ingredients to be found in the pictures of Emma Dunbar and Fiona Millais. They have been close friends for a long time, and often walk their dogs together foraging for ideas for future paintings, picking up feathers, leaves, plants and stones or maybe sketching birds or cattle in a field to paint into their pictures back in their studios. Although working on the same subjects, basic differences lie in their work which hangs very compatibly together.
