|Born 1946, she studied under Senora Simi in Florence in 1962 and 1963 and then went on for a brief time to Paris. Later she studied under Helmut Ruheman and became a successful picture restorer for some twenty years. In 1984 she spent a few months at the Charles Cecil Studios in Florence and then returned to full time painting and drawing. She did a series of botanical drawings for an exhibition at Spinks. The 17th and 18th century Spanish masters have greatly influenced her, particularly Velasquez, Luis Melendez, Zurbaran and Sanchez Cotan.

She now lives in Majorca where she is inspired by the colours and light, which are reflected in her paintings of fruit and vegetables.
